About Martin the photographer…
Martin Hill is regarded as one of the brightest photographers in the southwest.

Born in North Devon in 1968 Martin spent most of his working life serving with the Royal Marines. In 2001 he left the services and started his management career within the NHS. Always inspired by fresh challenges, in 2005 Martin embarked on the ultimate challenge converting a hobby/passion into a professional outlet.

Martin is passionate about creating spontaneous lifestyle photographs, using natural light whenever possible. He will make you feel comfortable and relaxed, as if being photographed by an old friend. Martin also understands and appreciates the responsibility he has in capturing your special day. This is why his professional approach is completely unique, and one which you will enjoy and trust for years to come.

Away from photography Martin enjoys spending time with his daughter Emilia. When not in her company, Martin does admit to spending perhaps a little too much time watching his beloved Somerset playing cricket!
